What services does NationsHealth provide?
NationsHealth delivers a large selection of diabetes testing supplies and other
medical supplies for conditions most often associated with diabetes. Refer to
our
Medical Products and
Diabetes Supplies section for specific information on the products we
offer. We deliver your supplies right to your door, promptly, and with no
charge for shipping. We bill Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance plans so
there are no claim forms to fill out. When it's time to reorder, we will
contact you with a friendly reminder so you can be sure you have the supplies
you need, when you need them.
Who is eligible to receive NationsHealth services?
You're eligible for this program if your physician approves the request for
supplies on your behalf. We also carry some over-the-counter supplies that do
not require a doctor's order.
How do I become a NationsHealth Customer?
Contact our Enrollment Department at
1-800-298-1554.
Why is the NationsHealth program better than going to my local
pharmacy?
We ship everything you need, directly to your door, with no charge for
shipping. There's no need to spend time making trips to the pharmacy. In
addition to diabetes testing supplies, we also provide a large selection of
medically related products for conditions most often brought on by diabetes or
in some cases useful for people without diabetes.
How much of the cost will I be responsible for paying out-of-pocket?
There are no up-front costs when you order supplies from NationsHealth. Once we
receive payment from your insurance, we will bill you for any remaining portion
that may be your responsibility. Out-of-pocket expenses vary based on the
supplies you order and the approved reimbursement by your insurance plan.
Medicare generally reimburses 80% for diabetes testing supplies. However,
reimbursement for other types of insurances vary from plan to plan. If you have
a secondary insurance, it may cover some or all of your out-of-pocket expenses.
Before shipping your supplies, we will contact your insurance plan to determine
your estimated out-of-pocket cost. It is always a good idea for you to
contact your insurance company in advance to ensure that you understand your
benefits.
If I do not have insurance, can I purchase supplies for cash?
NationsHealth is one of the country's leading providers of diabetes testing
supplies, oral prescription medications, insulin, syringes, and other essential
medical and personal care products. For customers with no insurance, many of
these products are available for purchase by calling
1-800-298-1554.
Is there a charge for delivering medical supplies and medications to my home?
There is never a charge for shipping.
Who submits my claims to Medicare or other insurance payer?
NationsHealth completes and submits claim forms on your behalf as long as we
have a signed Authorization to Bill (ATB) form on file for you. This
gives us permission to bill your insurance company on your behalf.
What is the Authorization to Bill Form?
An Authorization to Bill allows NationsHealth to process your claim
and accept payment directly from Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Medicaid,
commercial insurance plans or a secondary insurer on your behalf. If you need
help completing this form, please contact the NationsHealth Customer Service
Department at
1-800-298-1554.
What if I am not satisfied with my medical supplies or equipment?
NationsHealth has a 100% guarantee return policy on our medical supplies and
equipment. You are not obligated to keep any supplies or equipment in
which you are not 100% satisfied. NationsHealth will reimburse Medicare and/or
your insurance company for claims already paid for returned supplies. For
malfunctioning medical equipment that has a manufacturer's warranty (including
glucose monitors and insulin pumps), we will assist you with returning the
product and the manufacturer will provide a replacement product.
Prescription products: By law, we are not allowed to accept
returns of prescription products for reuse or resale. If we have made an error
in filling the prescription, however, please call our Pharmacy Customer Service
Department with the details of the error. Please Contact NationsHealth Customer
Service Department for more information toll-free at
1-800-246-1169.
